Communication and Citizen Services


Program Description

Coordinates activities needed to effectively communicate to citizens all important matters related to the government. Advises the Governor, Advisors and Government Agency Directors on matters related to communication; on the coordination of the Governor's official activities; writing messages and correspondence; gathering newsworthy information and evaluating it for decision-making.

FISCAL YEAR 2011-2012 ADOPTED BUDGET

As of fiscal year 2009 - 2010, the Governor's Public Affairs Office was integrated to the Governor's Office. For this reason the human and fiscal resources were transferred to that Office. This move improves efficiency and maximizes the utilization of public funds.
